Welcome to Our Site

The goal of our web site is to keep Alliance members, local businesses and prospective new businesses in suburban Shelby County informed on important local issues. The Alliance promotes Economic Development, Tourism, Suburban Downtown Development, Community Development and Quality of Life through our local Chambers. The ALLIANCE is a consortium of Shelby County’s suburban chambers of commerce representing over 2400 businesses throughout the Memphis Metro area.

About Us

The Shelby County Chambers of Commerce Alliance was formed to monitor and influence local, state and federal public policy as it relates to the economic health of the Memphis Metro Area.  We strive to keep our Chamber members informed on issues that impact the business community of suburban Shelby County. The Alliance serves as a voice for business regarding legislation and policy that affect business efficiency and profitability. The Alliance is comprised of the six suburban Shelby County chambers.  The participating chambers are Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland and Millington. The Alliance also serves as a forum where elected officials and governmental agencies can meet with business leaders to discuss and address pertinent issues. Read More

Startup America Partnership Chief Executive Officer Scott Case will keynote the EDC Commissioner’s Luncheon on Sept. 22 during the 58th annual Governor’s Conference on Economic and Community Development in Nashville.

The Startup America Partnership is a private organization working to help young companies succeed in order to grow jobs, and it has announced more than $500 million in private-sector commitments to support startups since launching in January.

385 CORRIDOR

The 385 Corridor Economic Development Alliance is comprised of the six suburban chambers of commerce of Shelby County representing the munici-palities of Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland and Millington as well as the unin-corporated portions of the county.
