The goal of our web site is to keep Alliance members, local businesses and prospective new businesses in suburban Shelby County informed on important local issues. The Alliance promotes Economic Development, Tourism, Suburban Downtown Development, Community Development and Quality of Life through our local Chambers. The ALLIANCE is a consortium of Shelby County’s suburban chambers of commerce representing over 2400 businesses throughout the Memphis Metro area.
The Shelby County Chambers of Commerce Alliance was formed to monitor and influence local, state and federal public policy as it relates to the economic health of the Memphis Metro Area. We strive to keep our Chamber members informed on issues that impact the business community of suburban Shelby County. The Alliance serves as a voice for business regarding legislation and policy that affect business efficiency and profitability. The Alliance is comprised of the six suburban Shelby County chambers. The participating chambers are Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland and Millington. The Alliance also serves as a forum where elected officials and governmental agencies can meet with business leaders to discuss and address pertinent issues.
Your support of the Shelby County Chambers Alliance serves to strengthen the existence of The Alliance as we strive to improve discussion of important issues and address these issues to the growing community. In addition, your company will have recognition throughout all the suburban communities as an active supporter of the Alliance’s mission: “Working Together For A Strong Economy”.
